"I have protected and served the citizens of Ellis County for over 20 years as an Assistant County and District Attorney, 2 years as First Assistant, and currently serving as the County and District Attorney.  I have the integrity and experience necessary to lead the second largest county office.  I will continue to be tough on crime to ensure the safety and welfare of the citizens of Ellis County, and I will continue to see that justice is done."
